I think it's turned out stunning!smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-34519755925908706622008-06-02T18:47:00.005+01:002008-12-11T14:20:37.421+00:00More Decopatch!!!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk0294oOulyHFrZm1LOBxpeI_XwYau8PwiGYFbLp1iyuWbPnwLbKegS_VnFUhRPoKfSSkqe-cxoGGDHUK-Mt0neoA-R98X8tw3UU84QmuET34iBtCnwm1ZFcZMu_v06G-E5AuxvqTKICI/s1600-h/Bucket.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207343091283689810" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" height="186" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk0294oOulyHFrZm1LOBxpeI_XwYau8PwiGYFbLp1iyuWbPnwLbKegS_VnFUhRPoKfSSkqe-cxoGGDHUK-Mt0neoA-R98X8tw3UU84QmuET34iBtCnwm1ZFcZMu_v06G-E5AuxvqTKICI/s200/Bucket.jpg" width="144" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb4f3fHo6au1gxty4opguYRCPpSMkeZPqLpJfQ6acWlwpPf4a4BnWFjmR2BbBhgofFk-5BUQn16l8lRCYzHHdi2-EkANDgOAoevQ0LKnvqjHjD-D1AkXH6LlZZseslKgH02h8QPsP2sUo/s1600-h/Decobear.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207343093190266418" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" height="183" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb4f3fHo6au1gxty4opguYRCPpSMkeZPqLpJfQ6acWlwpPf4a4BnWFjmR2BbBhgofFk-5BUQn16l8lRCYzHHdi2-EkANDgOAoevQ0LKnvqjHjD-D1AkXH6LlZZseslKgH02h8QPsP2sUo/s200/Decobear.jpg" width="147" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVVZi_zdt8OhZMCNb3m6ty9L9ZtRWk2hgOgvrEqZp-4oLTxxXfKTTPMePMVAFKal15s3TCNQlaG-y-HTV76nnzVtkBzlVrk03f2ln7w8mur9zx9CzxuoOk5x1MUFxSMTTVW1mo0ZyLtb8/s1600-h/Piggybanks.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207343098843181154" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" height="93" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVVZi_zdt8OhZMCNb3m6ty9L9ZtRWk2hgOgvrEqZp-4oLTxxXfKTTPMePMVAFKal15s3TCNQlaG-y-HTV76nnzVtkBzlVrk03f2ln7w8mur9zx9CzxuoOk5x1MUFxSMTTVW1mo0ZyLtb8/s200/Piggybanks.jpg" width="185" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjB8sndW0-qClw1JMWEtKVEBlpBsheIdhMliLcvRX8kyJMaFgXbfu3y-JUiqSmd1yHaubU_cNEZpwthDPs1WyJ5eSyWuyy86gxFk56o1TaA-CbyKAi6sY7xQecQm7qP82FRweAT9r-RP6U/s1600-h/Pink+cat+2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207343101504637474" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjB8sndW0-qClw1JMWEtKVEBlpBsheIdhMliLcvRX8kyJMaFgXbfu3y-JUiqSmd1yHaubU_cNEZpwthDPs1WyJ5eSyWuyy86gxFk56o1TaA-CbyKAi6sY7xQecQm7qP82FRweAT9r-RP6U/s200/Pink+cat+2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Hmmmmmmmmmmm I think it may be quite possible that I have gone just a little crazy with this stuff!! Found a new shop at Earlswood Lake Craft centre that sells decopatch products and they have good tips and advice there too <a href="http://www.thateurekamoment.co.uk/">http://www.thateurekamoment.co.uk/</a> . I've just brought the decopatch glue which is the best so far! I have tried Mod podge and PVA which do work, and are good if you fancy trying it and do not want to spend the money on the glue - but as I am more into it now, I thought I'd treat myself and spend a bit extra. I have quite a few items stored up to decopatch so I will probably be posting more items soon LOL.</div>smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-74065334501509821222008-04-10T20:27:00.003+01:002008-12-11T14:20:37.906+00:00Playing with my beads again....<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqx7q0kNKTseKrSanG6yDqmnljGOXClpiz-Kjannd3_9m7jSeQ7pZWVe89FvSg27w0zBg7p_dByjiVV7dAECujd7t7UQ6fzAPyUxgGCz-DaLkgZa8QDgSjEhRj2uU45Hdvg-o-w0hyphenhyphenzfY/s1600-h/yellow+necklace.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5187701155463046498" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqx7q0kNKTseKrSanG6yDqmnljGOXClpiz-Kjannd3_9m7jSeQ7pZWVe89FvSg27w0zBg7p_dByjiVV7dAECujd7t7UQ6fzAPyUxgGCz-DaLkgZa8QDgSjEhRj2uU45Hdvg-o-w0hyphenhyphenzfY/s200/yellow+necklace.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF1735E0czua607ceYAmfeP6-_U6Siqlaqfrkidp-LcNKTxDMJULQ46RD54SADq8Yh-pzvY0b1ZxXDqEc8Mfo3wG9GrOuGC1lz0Nddjv94t_Q48-8Fx4fIg5KXNvLYGysi0alQHR5a3vM/s1600-h/orange+necklace.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5187700983664354642" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF1735E0czua607ceYAmfeP6-_U6Siqlaqfrkidp-LcNKTxDMJULQ46RD54SADq8Yh-pzvY0b1ZxXDqEc8Mfo3wG9GrOuGC1lz0Nddjv94t_Q48-8Fx4fIg5KXNvLYGysi0alQHR5a3vM/s200/orange+necklace.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div> I brought a new set of beads as a treat to myself after finishing all my uni work ;o). So sorry to all the peeps that were waiting to see what I was going to do to the mannequin & cat face - but the wait will make it all the more worthwhile.<br />I officially finish my course in April - but have so much work to do in the next month or two - that my beloved arts & crafts will have to take a background stance.<br />Although I may have mini moments of weakness because I really don't know how I will cope without crafting for that long!!<br />I have asked my buddies on the docrafts website to ban me from all their swops until I am finished LOL and they are allowed to tell me off if I ask for a swop.<br /><br />Ah well - better get cracking on with it for now - no time like the present!!smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-59499937934146077632008-02-22T19:13:00.003+00:002008-12-11T14:20:38.592+00:00Wall Art!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrnohqOBV-hlZTdO2ux7-hbDCXnLdJO309yJy7p9raFQZLsFCRjih9W1cNjRedFKWiubtMlc_M9p8Zv2_UqYQl4jSHkNeaY82QdXXBcM4YC-hA5CYsgZdWRyvwA6udAQreIMB81sBFE50/s1600-h/Pink+Lace+Flower.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5169886037862552130" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrnohqOBV-hlZTdO2ux7-hbDCXnLdJO309yJy7p9raFQZLsFCRjih9W1cNjRedFKWiubtMlc_M9p8Zv2_UqYQl4jSHkNeaY82QdXXBcM4YC-hA5CYsgZdWRyvwA6udAQreIMB81sBFE50/s200/Pink+Lace+Flower.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Well - I'm no closer to sorting my craft room out into an organised mess yet - but I have decided that it is going to be black & cersie pink!! - Found some beautiful black wallpaper for the 1 wall - then the other walls will be painted. I will also use the wallpaper to decorate the panels on the wardrobe ;0). </div><div>Anyway - was playing with my acrylic paints and canvas - painted it - then used one odf my favourite stamps to do some fancy bits on it. But because its a framed one I, had to re-draw some of the strands with my whispers brush markers.</div><div>The rectangle at the top is just a little smaller than an ATC (Artist Trading Card). This was stamped, then inked the background pink and triple embossed with Debbie Moore's embossing enamel (fabulous stuff!). Then finished off with 3 little pink gems. This will be going up in my craft room when it is finally finished - or - I may make a bigger 1 for my craft room. If I do make a bigger 1 - I don't know what I'll do with this 1 LOL.</div>smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-17187244094734791792008-02-10T19:49:00.000+00:002008-12-11T14:20:38.706+00:00Cat Face!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinA9sa2H_cj99dVLuy0R8njFJC49mG7PEpEmZqzHrypKY2SNCw8qwsRfmLAT99CEcjH_dvdhFmQj5ver0cCVaH_Et-K3fSN1WasdFEUao-wXwByFFAxl7tHX9SHg2zDNU3TQmcskPQuow/s1600-h/cat+mask.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5165441532690207282" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinA9sa2H_cj99dVLuy0R8njFJC49mG7PEpEmZqzHrypKY2SNCw8qwsRfmLAT99CEcjH_dvdhFmQj5ver0cCVaH_Et-K3fSN1WasdFEUao-wXwByFFAxl7tHX9SHg2zDNU3TQmcskPQuow/s200/cat+mask.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I went and brought this papier mache face from hobbycraft the other day (I know it's cheating - but I'm a busy gal!). There is my sexy lady project! My sister used to do Ann Summer parties and this was what she used to display her items. She let me have it after for car boots, but I have decided that it is now my altered art project. I think I better draw up some idea's for it aswell cus when it's finished it will be a main feature for my craft room. I have decided that my craft room is going to be pink & black - so need to work along this theme. I also want to use a mixed media collagey effect on this - but havn't quite decided yet. I will keep you posted on the progress.....smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-71916028887969552532008-02-04T23:21:00.000+00:002008-12-11T14:20:39.726+00:00Some Altered Boxes<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1o4BwyvOW3XLvlKmlCTnicVXhimJRmJonClKycVAvkcSX6VcRPbcg6CS4Wnyy3VtVe_lE-DtVjK5qukLQJdwPiPC2XWzP_xafpHo8jy5Mu5aMOBpp1V77Xb0YLROIcNSgDjy6odedHdc/s1600-h/altered+ATC+box.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163269631424630610" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1o4BwyvOW3XLvlKmlCTnicVXhimJRmJonClKycVAvkcSX6VcRPbcg6CS4Wnyy3VtVe_lE-DtVjK5qukLQJdwPiPC2XWzP_xafpHo8jy5Mu5aMOBpp1V77Xb0YLROIcNSgDjy6odedHdc/s200/altered+ATC+box.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJHViNDqPRfTB_TAD0PNpcPJVdwDHTmDcBAQhVYiz33NhtiXMboFZJG9xcL0MF_L9i8Cy5RHe9PHpDTziUCyCUQxjjgiyAo_32IjhgUAoKBSHBlPgzPS6BiJGbuU_7fNNjYQwgyynpWU4/s1600-h/Altered+box.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163269635719597922" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJHViNDqPRfTB_TAD0PNpcPJVdwDHTmDcBAQhVYiz33NhtiXMboFZJG9xcL0MF_L9i8Cy5RHe9PHpDTziUCyCUQxjjgiyAo_32IjhgUAoKBSHBlPgzPS6BiJGbuU_7fNNjYQwgyynpWU4/s200/Altered+box.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRl-Y_g7eCLVbl-sZrLRE3Zz97qC2uqt73jPgULSLMzfhEjVlHp7LoPdKHXbaPvlnp3VAhyeYA8L0yWstq7CBXCnsnhZDI1k7dXq0Jbn85QoO0k4iD3YOIuqvgWHV6HZbcUV4wPUFLNPo/s1600-h/altered+box+pinky+peach.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163269640014565234" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRl-Y_g7eCLVbl-sZrLRE3Zz97qC2uqt73jPgULSLMzfhEjVlHp7LoPdKHXbaPvlnp3VAhyeYA8L0yWstq7CBXCnsnhZDI1k7dXq0Jbn85QoO0k4iD3YOIuqvgWHV6HZbcUV4wPUFLNPo/s200/altered+box+pinky+peach.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><p> </p><p>The brown & blue box was the 1st piece of altered art I remember doing. I was originally a gift box with jewellery in. I used papers which were free from a magazine, wripping & tearing, then using PVA glue to stick down. I then icluded embellishment such as tags, punched flowers, brads and gems. Once I'd done this I inked the edges of the box & embossed in copper. I was really pleased with the result & it now contains my 'ATC swops pending' with the plastic wallets & stamps (of course!).</p><p>The 2nd box (purple & blue) was a pre brought papier mache box. I covered it with papers & punched flowers to go on the top. The purple strip was just coloured in whisper pens. I then decorated with a butterfly & gems. This was for one of my good friend Vonxy's 60th birthday & contained a necklace which I made for her. </p><p>The 3rd box (peach & pink) was another papier mache box. I again decorated this in pretty papers, used pink & peach embossing powder around the edges, then decorated with tags, punched flowers, gems, peel-offs and ribbon. This one contained a necklace which I made from friendly plastic. It was for a raffle prize when a few of us ATCers met up in Luffy. Me buddy FrankieSue won this.</p><p>Ooooh I mite have a go at mixing the decopatch boxes with the collage embossed ones.....hmmmm watch this space.....</p>smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-56119454387783435202008-02-04T21:06:00.000+00:002008-12-11T14:20:40.442+00:00Silk Painting<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtwq719ENT81wlbMrmnPXM6jnyZ-OsGPlAM5YHw0BrPcdzvsBu4HrFKRWdFUMiceE1AvAUn9uvBqZZ1lObTo3Qv6yt1DI4uNtvt_7ZYhorhJkUPHTa-FLOLSJ3mp99y10grl0LVsD59jQ/s1600-h/Silk+Lily.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163237436349779698" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtwq719ENT81wlbMrmnPXM6jnyZ-OsGPlAM5YHw0BrPcdzvsBu4HrFKRWdFUMiceE1AvAUn9uvBqZZ1lObTo3Qv6yt1DI4uNtvt_7ZYhorhJkUPHTa-FLOLSJ3mp99y10grl0LVsD59jQ/s200/Silk+Lily.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-wdZjiJ6hfhBu_lqg-sXX2AXppTFgO25Po_ehATsElRJ1K4cLiNOuOdcldMqm-D4Fw20vYQUeTRUJBp_Y3w4oMsndfpNAlveul0zG6gSnTKY-X5dx6_JCrKIibMC9OGk0S0gftN4ywsg/s1600-h/Silk+paint+scarf.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163237444939714306" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-wdZjiJ6hfhBu_lqg-sXX2AXppTFgO25Po_ehATsElRJ1K4cLiNOuOdcldMqm-D4Fw20vYQUeTRUJBp_Y3w4oMsndfpNAlveul0zG6gSnTKY-X5dx6_JCrKIibMC9OGk0S0gftN4ywsg/s200/Silk+paint+scarf.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpq2WrUG1pCdhZ6CCHG4II1SmSpQbuthwMw9B2QN9HD4snUnpFgiuHhYAUU5XWEkHgnKxamABilfs5gOIk7_lZOJAuNLq6cIqrhtSKIPsjfhOnWS-AhF-LsM-W_O_ZJCZVWyKfAnByMlc/s1600-h/Silk+Challenge+(Bobs).jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163237453529648914" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpq2WrUG1pCdhZ6CCHG4II1SmSpQbuthwMw9B2QN9HD4snUnpFgiuHhYAUU5XWEkHgnKxamABilfs5gOIk7_lZOJAuNLq6cIqrhtSKIPsjfhOnWS-AhF-LsM-W_O_ZJCZVWyKfAnByMlc/s200/Silk+Challenge+(Bobs).jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>I first started this when I was about 20ish (I think). I found a couple out recently which I had painted and put them up on my gallery on the docrafts website. I was then challenged by Bobs - one of me buddies - to make a silk painted ATC. Quite tricky when I was used to buying the pre printed silk (which are so much more easy LOL). So I cut a piece of spare silk and wrapped it around a piece of ATC sized card and backed it with another piece of card. I then used the gutta outline to design a pattern & wait to dry. Then I just simply splodged silk paints over it & let them merge into each other. and Voila!</div><br /><div>With silk painting, it can be tricky to get the right amount of paint on the brush - it's always better to have too little rather than too much as it can bleed. When creating your own designs, use the gutta outliner 1st & wait to dry. Then use water, as if you are painting on the silk. This will show if there are any gaps in the liner (which will cause bleeding) so that you can re-apply the outliner. When it has all dried it is ready to paint. Another fab technique with silk painting is applying salt as it give a fabulous speckly effect.</div>smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-43494658913962809172008-02-04T20:21:00.000+00:002008-12-11T14:20:42.789+00:00Decopatch MAD!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggaRo5FfmWo9TekP-1gCnKzFPvNZbWq_a1D3jvji9GsgjqP6xT5AoJBy7fNJJzulimzP_CbghyiB3c_RL4JFJXNJTb9R1QGpcm92iiVxD-sPntvPnPjlsWE7CRphENiwC2UKt7aG2Ofjg/s1600-h/100_0105.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163467333064232834" style="FLOAT: left; Basically decopatching is simply ripping up paper & glueing it back down - just like the papier mache technique. I have tried it with tissue paper (on the mini mannequin) but it's very thin & tends to tear easily. It maybe good as a base coat as I still had to go over it with decopatch paper. The decopatch paper is a lot thicker and so so pretty ;0). I have tried both Mod podge & PVA glue and both work just as well - it just depends on what you personally prefer, athough I would say that Mod podge tends to have a tacky sticky feel to it after (not good for the boxes ha!). You can decopatch onto any surface.</div><div> </div><div>The wooden cat was a present from abroad, but didn't match my lounge or my other wooden cat (it was red & black), so I used animal print decopatch paper and now he's a happy cat sat next to me fireplace!</div><div> </div><div>The mini mannequin was £3 in the sale from next and was pink! My little sister wanted it green to match her new bedroom. So I tried some green tissue paper on this. It was too thin to ise on it's own and was a lot harder to handle - so still had to use decopatch paper after all LOL.</div><div> </div><div>The letter rack was £3.99 from hobbycraft, and I also brought a pack of wooden hearts for 69p. I glued one to the front of this Then decopatched over the top. I love the vintagey paper on this one! </div><div> </div><div>I think my favourite so far is my little key box. I found it for £1 at a car boot! I painted it in a peachy colour, then sponge painted yellow over the top, so that you can still see that it is 2 toned. I then picked out areas to decopatch with a matching paper. I've actually kept this & the letter rack for myself!</div><div> </div><div>For inspiration have a look at:</div><div><a href="http://www.decopatch.com/">http://www.decopatch.com/</a></div><div> </div><div><a href="http://www.decoupatch.co.uk/index1.html">http://www.decoupatch.co.uk/index1.html</a></div><div> </div><div><a href="http://www.jestique.co.uk/index.php?cPath=1_3">http://www.jestique.co.uk/index.php?cPath=1_3</a></div></div></div>smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-24125683746951702982008-01-28T20:51:00.000+00:002008-12-11T14:20:43.185+00:00Take 6<p align="left"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii_NnIAfqAc3wEFsNRN8fs-zdiOmvf9paonkm3eJn390qF5O5MZC5-IwGmWL1dYLror7qfuF0dxiTVSN5MUP8iOw10_swU3SreVx5ix8MoidKR_fieX84tBcss-ah2tneVJzKCQT1T-7E/s1600-h/Take+6+2of2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5160635820039769602" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii_NnIAfqAc3wEFsNRN8fs-zdiOmvf9paonkm3eJn390qF5O5MZC5-IwGmWL1dYLror7qfuF0dxiTVSN5MUP8iOw10_swU3SreVx5ix8MoidKR_fieX84tBcss-ah2tneVJzKCQT1T-7E/s320/Take+6+2of2.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAKJZo86QWj5uJzCD7C29hkcXRHAD_MmKAWt-n2bxWrta5a_JoHn7VC6p8N_BTVhqLNyh4r4jk98lXZAmTBwAeiAVKnsdjW3pDYcwcmrMzqncXSGgrPWFhkfzroifnQlzpLC2sAmtICQM/s1600-h/Take+6+1of2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5160635562341731826" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAKJZo86QWj5uJzCD7C29hkcXRHAD_MmKAWt-n2bxWrta5a_JoHn7VC6p8N_BTVhqLNyh4r4jk98lXZAmTBwAeiAVKnsdjW3pDYcwcmrMzqncXSGgrPWFhkfzroifnQlzpLC2sAmtICQM/s320/Take+6+1of2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Have been busy making ATCs for some group swops. The most recent 1 was for a 'Take 6' swop for one of me docraft buddies - Nicks. Only 6 listed items were allowed to make an ATC which were<br /><br />1 - Your own created background<br /><br />2 - Clay or Fimo<br /><br />3 - String<br /><br />4 - Metal<br /><br />5 - Embossing Powder<br /><br />6 - Leather or material<br /><br />I was pleased with the outcome as I used a piece of metal for the background & had my 1st go at metal embossing. I then randomly splashed alcohol inks over it, waited for it to dry for a short while - then added some embossing powdwer to the bits of alcohol inks that were still wet.<br /><br />I used air dry clay for the main image & stamped into it - then coloured with brush markers & embossing powder, then finally added a leather strip, bit of string & metal embellishments. </p>smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318201554172697153.post-77954975372407871262008-01-17T22:12:00.000+00:002008-01-17T22:17:47.454+00:00Arts and CraftsI love all sort and have tried many different arts & crafts & flit between them a lot. I am concerntrating on ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) at the moment as I am hosting a swop on docrafts called 'arty farty swop'. As it is a craft site I thought I would pull people out of their comfort zones & asked them to create ATC's using artist materials ONLY - no crafts, & there has been some fantastic ones flying through my door....think I better get started on mine soon LOL. Anyway better get back to crafting.......smellihellihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07793318046403884237noreply@blogger.com0
